Beat Management : List, Create/Modify Beat, Beat Hierarchy

BEAT MANAGEMENT: 

The company’s Geographical hierarchy is generally divided into Zone, Region, and Territory, and Beat. In order to construct a location hierarchy of the company, it is very important to know how to create all these levels.

This Document Explains How to manage (Create/Edit) Beats is discussed in this module. 

The following document will help you with the following Queries:- 

● How to create a new Beat? 

● How to edit an existing beat? 

● How to deactivate a beat? 

● How to check the beat hierarchy mapping to Zone, territory, and Region? 

In order to Reach this setting, go to the “Beats Management” under the “Location management” as shown below.

HOW TO CREATE A NEW BEAT?

HOW TO DEACTIVATE A BEAT? 

On Clicking “List Beat” Under Beat Management, the following window will appear: 

This window shows all the existing beats and options to View details, Edit, Create, and Deactivate.

On clicking Create Button the following window will appear: 

Enter the name of the beat. 

Select the territory in which the beat lies. 

If the company had been using a different ERP previously and wishes to enter the same ID of the beat, please enter the Id as required, else leave blank. 

On filling in the details click on the submit button. Your beat is now created. 

To Edit an existing beat click on the Edit button 

Fill in the relevant details and click on the submit button. 

To Deactivate a beat, click on the deactivate button 

On getting this confirmation 

click on the “confirm” button to 

deactivate the beat.

HOW TO CHECK THE BEAT HIERARCHY IN THE SYSTEM? 

To check the beat hierarchy in the system, click on Beat Hierarchy under “Beat Management”. 

On clicking the following window opens up: 

This window gives all the beats and their corresponding Territory, Region and Zone. 

Alternatively, you can search for the beat of your choice by using the search bar.
