Product Management module in company Setting is used to manage the products existing in a company as well as to create the new products


The following document will help you with the following Queries:- ● How to Create/Add a new product? 

● How to edit an existing product? 

● How to deactivate a product? 

● How to define Must buy products? 


To reach product management, one should click on the Company setting tab, product management tab will unhide. 


Click on product management.


HOW TO CREATE/ADD A NEW PRODUCT? 


On clicking the product management option, the window as shown below will open. 


The terms/nomenclature used in this window is explained below: 


Create: Click on it to create a new Product 

Edit: Click to edit an existing product 

Deactivate: Click to Deactivate a product 

Inactive: Filter to see all deactivated Zones 

Assign Regional Attributes: To set Regional Pricing for products 


To create a new Product Click the Create Button on the top left:


The following window opens up: 


All fields are compulsory.

 

Name- Product name 

Secondary category- Secondary category of the product 

Primary category- Primary category of the product

 

PLEASE NOTE:- To know how to create a PRIMARY / SECONDARY CATEGORY please refer to the PRODUCT CATEGORIES module. 


Price to retailer- Price at which article is sold to a retailer 

Minimum Batch Quantity- Minimum number of Pieces to be booked in order to book this Product 


Click on the submit button then your product is created in the system. To edit an existing product, click on the Edit button To deactivate a product click on the deactivate button as shown

HOW TO ADD REGIONAL PRICE? 

Click on Assign Regional Attributes as shown: 

On Clicking the button the following Pop up opens: 


In this page, Different terms and their action is explained below. 


PTR- PTR is a price to the retailer. Enter the price to the retailer for the corresponding region. 

PTD- PTR is a price to the distributor. Enter the price to the distributor for the corresponding region. 

MBQ- Minimum Batch Quantity- Minimum number of Pieces to be booked in order to book this Product 

Make the changes as required and then click on the “Save All” option to save the changes.


HOW TO DEFINE MUST SELL PRODUCTS? 


Must sell products are those products that the ESM compulsorily has to sell. Do Define which Products must fall under this category click on the following: 



On clicking the following Window Opens up:

Enter the products that you wish to define as Must sell 


On completion click on the submit button
