DEFINE DESIGNATION 

(COMPANY SETTINGS) 


The define designation module under company settings is used to create or define the designation of all users in the user hierarchy. 


Say, one single level (say Area Sales Managers) has two types of designations, Sr. ASM and Jr.ASM. In this case, this module will be used to define these designations. 

The following document will help you with the following Queries:- 


● How to set/create/define the designation of all the users? 

To reach Define Designation, one should click on the Company settings tab, Define Designation tab will unhide. 


Click on Define Designation



HOW TO SET/CREATE/DEFINE DESIGNATIONS OF ALL THE USERS? 


On clicking define designation, the window as shown below will open. 



This window will list all the already existing designations (if defined previously). 

Click on the create button to add a new designation. 

On clicking create,


Enter the Name of the Required Designation and click the Submit button. Once this is done a new Designation is created in the system. 


In order to “Deactivate” a Designation that is not in use in the company Click on the Deactivate button.

HOW TO MAP THE NEWLY CREATED DESIGNATION TO THE USERS? 

To map users to the Designation, reach Field user management, under the Employee Management tab, under the company settings. 

On Clicking the Field user management tab, the following window will appear 

Click on Edit against the Employee where the Designation needs to be updated and fill in the Designation as required.

To upload Designations of all the user at once, Please go to Employee Management tab> Bulk Upload> Field User Update.
