LOCATION MANAGEMENT 

(COMPANY ZONE, REGION, TERRITORY): 


Location management tab in Company setting module on FieldAssist web portal enables the user to create/edit Zones, regions, territories, beats, and outlets. 


The company’s Geographical hierarchy is generally divided into Zone, Region, and Territory and Beat. In order to construct a location hierarchy of the company, it is very important to know how to create all these levels. 



The following document will help you with the following Queries:- 

● Where to find Company Zone settings? 

● How to Add/Edit Company Zone?

● How to find Territory Setting? 

● How to Add/ Edit a Territory? 

● How to Map Territory to user/ Detach Territory? 


To reach Location management, one should click on the Company setting tab, location management tab will unhide. 


Further clicking on the Arrow in front of the location management will unhide further options and functionalities as shown below.



WHERE TO FIND COMPANY ZONE SETTINGS? 


To reach the “Company Zones” tab, click on the arrow in front of the location management under company settings. 


On clicking the option, the window as shown below will open. 


The terms/nomenclature used in this window is explained below: 


Create: Click on it to create a new Zone 

Edit: Click to edit an existing Zone 

Deactivate: Click to Deactivate a Zone 

Inactive: Filter to see all deactivated Zones



HOW TO CREATE/EDIT A COMPANY ZONE? 

Click on “Create”(as shown below) to create a new company zone. 

On Clicking Create the following Pop up opens: 

Fill in the details. The name of the company zone is compulsory. 

If the company had been using another ERP and wishes to maintain the same Id, kindly enter the ID in the previous ERP, else leave blank. 

On filling in the relevant details, click on the submit button. 

Once this is done you can see your new entry for the new Company Zone 

To edit an existing Region Click on the edit button and 

update the required fields:



HOW TO FIND REGION SETTINGS? 

To reach the “Region” tab, click on the arrow in front of the location management under company settings. 

Please note: To Create a Region at least one company Zone must be created before. On clicking the option, the window as shown below will open. 




The terms/nomenclature used in this window is explained below: 

Create: Click on it to create a new Region 

Edit: Click to edit an existing Region 

Deactivate: Click to Deactivate a Region 

Inactive: Filter to see all deactivated Regions


HOW TO CREATE/EDIT A REGION? 

Click on “Create”(as shown below) to create a new company zone. 

On Clicking Create the following Pop up opens: 


Enter the name of the new region. 

The name of the Region is compulsory. 

If the company had been using another ERP and wishes to maintain the same Id, kindly enter the ID in the previous ERP, else leave blank. 

Select the Zone where the region lies. 

Click On update. Your region is then saved. 

To edit an existing Region Click on the edit button 

and update the required fields:

HOW TO FIND TERRITORY SETTINGS? 


To reach the “Territories” tab, click on the arrow in front of the location management under company settings. 

On clicking the option, the window as shown below will open. 


The terms/nomenclature used in this window is explained below: 

Create: Click on it to create a new Territory 

Edit: Click to edit an existing Territory 

Deactivate: Click to Deactivate a Territory 

Inactive: Filter to see all deactivated Territory 

View Details: View All details of the particular Territory

HOW TO CREATE/EDIT A TERRITORY? 

Click on “Create”(as shown below) to create a Territory 

Please note: To Create a Territory at least one Region must be created before. On Clicking Create the following Pop up opens: 


Enter the name of the new Territory. 

Select the Zone where the Territory lies. 

Select the Region where the Territory lies. 

Based on the selection of Zone and Region, the SM field will show all the relevant users in that region. Select the SM whose territory needs to be tagged. 

Please Note: Select Zone First and then Region and then the SM 

Click on submit to create the territory. 

To Edit a territory, click on the edit button

On clicking View Details you will see all the details of the 

territory as shown below 

Incase any ASM/Level 2 is not mapped to a territory click on the Territory Map button on the right corner 

On clicking the following window opens up:

On clicking Create the following pop up opens up: 

Select the SM to be mapped/updated. 

And then select the territory of choice. 

Once this is done click on the update button. 

In order to Detach or remove territory mapped to a user, Click on the Detach button
