Steps to be followed
Click on Company Settings – Employee Management
In backend we have maximum of 6 level employee hierarchies that can be maintained for a company. However the level of employee hierarchy depends and can be maintained as per your company and reaming level hierarchy will not be visible in dashboard.
ESM – Management or Level 1 hierarchy
To create a new profile in 1st level company hierarchy or ESM (as per Field Assist Nomenclature)
Steps to be followed
1. Need to click on ESM - Management; it will take you to hierarchy list window. 2. Click on + Create Button to create a new profile, also data of existing user can be edited here 3. Fill out the basic information and compulsory field (with *symbol) and hit Submit button to create a new user as highlighted in the image below
4. Likewise even you can edit the details of existing user in this option
5. Click on Hierarchy button on top see the employee hierarchy
6. Can deactivate the user here as well
Deactivate the user
Click on Deactivate button and hit on Confirm button to deactivate the user
ASM – Management or Level 2 hierarchy
To create a new profile in 2nd level company hierarchy or ASM (as per Field Assist Nomenclature)
Steps to be followed
1. Need to click on ASM - Management; it will take you to hierarchy list window. 2. Click on + Create Button to create a new profile, also data of existing user can be edited here 3. Fill out the basic information and compulsory field (with *symbol) and hit Submit button to create a new user as highlighted in the image below
4. Likewise even you can edit the details of existing user in this option
5. Click on Hierarchy button on top see the employee hierarchy
6. Can deactivate the user here as well
Deactivate the user
Before Deactivating ASM from the backend you need to detach the users who are reporting to the ASM and attach to other respective head. You can detach them in respective hierarchy option (employees under him) or reach Field Assist team for help.
Then Click on Deactivate button and hit on Confirm button to deactivate the user
Attach AreaSalesManager to the Territory
Steps to be followed
1. Click on AreaSalesManager Territory Map button on top and hit + Create Button to do the mapping
2. Select the ASM first and then select the respective Territories; hit on Update button to save
3. Same way before deactivating a ASM use the same option to Detach the territories from a ASM
To check if ASM (level 2 hierarchy) is already mapped with territory
Steps to be followed
1. Click on AreaSalesManager Territory Map button on top and it will take you to a new page “AreaSalesManager - Territory Mapping”
2. Where you can find the existing Territory and Area Sales Manager mapping which is available in the system
3. You can either use ASM Search Field or Territory Search Field to find the ASM name and territory details which is assigned to respective ASM
4. To detach the territory from particular ASM, click on Detach Button as shown in below image
RSM – Management or Level 3 hierarchy
To create a new profile in 3rd level company hierarchy or RSM (as per Field Assist Nomenclature)
Steps to be followed
1. Need to click on RSM - Management; it will take you to hierarchy list window. 2. Click on + Create Button to create a new profile, also data of existing user can be edited here 3. Fill out the basic information and compulsory field (with *symbol) and hit Submit button to create a new user as highlighted in the image below
4. Likewise even you can edit the details of existing user in this option
5. Click on Hierarchy button on top see the employee hierarchy
6. Can deactivate the user here as well

Before Deactivating RSM from the backend you need to detach the users who are reporting to the RSM and attach to other respective head. You can detach them in respective hierarchy option (employees under him) or reach Field Assist team for help.
Then Click on Deactivate button and hit on Confirm button to deactivate the user
ZSM – Management or Level 4 hierarchy
To create a new profile in 4th level company hierarchy or ZSM (as per Field Assist Nomenclature)

1. Need to click on ZSM - Management; it will take you to hierarchy list window. 2. Click on + Create Button to create a new profile, also data of existing user can be edited here 3. Fill out the basic information and compulsory field (with *symbol) and hit Submit button to create a new user as highlighted in the image below

Then Click on Deactivate button and hit on Confirm button to deactivate the user
NSM – Management or Level 5 hierarchy
To create a new profile in 5th level company hierarchy or NSM (as per Field Assist Nomenclature)
Steps to be followed
1. Need to click on NSM - Management; it will take you to hierarchy list window. 2. Click on + Create Button to create a new profile, also data of existing user can be edited here 3. Fill out the basic information and compulsory field (with *symbol) and hit Submit button to create a new user as highlighted in the image below
4. Likewise even you can edit the details of existing user in this option

6. Can deactivate the user here as well

Then Click on Deactivate button and hit on Confirm button to deactivate the user
GSM – Management or Level 6 hierarchy
To create a new profile in 6th level company hierarchy or GSM (as per Field Assist Nomenclature)
Steps to be followed
1. Need to click on GSM - Management; it will take you to hierarchy list window.
2. Click on + Create Button to create a new profile, also data of existing user can be edited here
3. Fill out the basic information and compulsory field (with *symbol) and hit Submit button to create a new user as highlighted in the image below

FAQ’S
1. How do I create a new user profile in dashboard?
Answer – Go to Employee management and select the appropriate employee hierarchy to create a new profile, in that page hit on +Create button top to create new user profile.
2. How do I update phone number or email id of a user?
Answer – Go to Employee management and select the appropriate employee hierarchy, in that page use the search field to find the user, and then click on Edit button to make the required changes and hit on Submit button
3. Where do I find the employee hierarchy fields in employee management option? I couldn’t find those options.
Answer - Click on Company settings option, you will find small arrow icon beside to Employee Management; click on that arrow to view all hierarchy fields of Employee Management option.
4. How to deactivate a user profile in dashboard?
Answer – Go to Employee management and select the appropriate employee hierarchy option to make changes, in that page you will find a Deactivate button beside of all users. Hit on Deactivate button to deactivate the user account.
5. How can I understand the present employee hierarchy followed in database before adding new user or editing an existing user?
Answer - Click on Company settings option, you will find small arrow icon beside to Employee Management; click on that arrow to view all hierarchy fields of Employee Management option. Click on Employee Hierarchy to see the existing Employee hierarchy followed in the database.
6. How to activate a user again which was deactivated before in the dashboard?
Answer – It works on basis of functionality if it is given to Company Admin; if the right is given to company Admin to view then admin can find an option Inactive Show field in respective Employee Hierarchy create page. In case if the Admin don’t have the rights, then they have reach Field Assist Account Manager for the support.
