Distributor Management 

Highlights 


∙ How to create a new distributor in Field Assist Web Portal?

Brief on Important Terms Used 


1. Stockist Type – There are 3 stockist types available and used in the system. (i.e.) Stockist,  Sub Stockist, Super Stockist 

2. Beats Mapping – Attaching or Detaching a distributor from a beat 


Steps To Be Followed 


Company Settings – Distributor Management 

As shown in below image 

Create New Distributor- Stockist Type 

1. Once you click on Company Settings – Distributor Management option, it will take you to  distributor creation page



2. Click on +Create Button 





3. A page will open and it will ask you to fill basic information of new distributor to create new  one 


4. Have to fill compulsory fields (with*symbol) like Name, Stockist Type (select Stockist),  Region of a new distributor

Contact Number  

should be 10 digit  

number

5. Other information like Contact number, Email id, Place, Address etc. can be given

 

6. After filing out the basic information hit on Submit button to create new distributor 



Create New Distributor- Sub Stockist Type 


1. Once you click on Company Settings – Distributor Management option, it will take you to  distributor creation page 

2. Click on +Create Button 




3. A page will open and it will ask you to fill basic information of new distributor to create new  one 

4. Have to fill compulsory fields (with*symbol) like Name, Stockist Type (select Sub Stockist),  Super Stockist, Region of a new distributor 

Contact Number  Note – While creating a new Sub Stockist if Super Stockist is already available in the system, then  simply select the Super Stockist name in the create page.  


Or else then create the Super Stockist in the system first and you can start Sub Stockist creation  process

 

5. Other information like Contact number, Email id, Place, Address etc. can be given 

6. After filing out the basic information click on Submit button to create new distributor

Create New Distributor- Super Stockist Type 

1. Once you click on Company Settings – Distributor Management option, it will take you to  distributor creation page 

2. Click on +Create Button 





3. A page will open and it will ask you to fill basic information of new distributor to create new  one 

4. Have to fill compulsory fields (with*symbol) like Name, Stockist Type (select Super Stockist),  of a new distributor 




Contact Number  should be 10 digit  number

5. Other information like Contact number, Email id, Place, Address etc. can be given 

6. After filing out the basic information hit on Submit button to create new distributor 




Edit Existing Distributor Data 

1. Once you click on Company Settings – Distributor Management option, it will take you to  distributor edit page 

2. Use Name Search Field or ERP ID Field to find the respective distributor to make the change 



3. Click on Edit button of an existing distributor, a window will open with existing information  available in the system 




4. Make the required changes to the data and click on Submit to save





Deactivation of Existing Distributor 

1. Once you click on Company Settings – Distributor Management option, it will take you to  distributor edit page 

2. Use Name Search Field or ERP ID Field to find the respective distributor to deactivate it 


3. Click on Deactivate button 




4. You will get message asking you to confirm the action; click on Confirm to deactivate the  distributor




Registering a Distributor for Field Assist Dashboard Access 


1. Once you click on Company Settings – Distributor Management option, it will take you to  distributor page 

2. Use Name Search Field or ERP ID Field to find the respective distributor 





3. Click on Register button, you will get pop up message saying registration is “Successful and  Account created and User Attached. Check your email for instructions” 

4. You can ask the distributor to check the email account for email from Field Assist to setup  login credentials and can start using dashboard 




Note – Distributor can access the Field Assist dashboard for only the reports that you assign  them in the Field Assist Web Portal


Distributor Beat Mapping 


1. Once you click on Company Settings – Distributor Management option, it will take you to  distributor page 

2. Use Name Search Field or ERP ID Field to find the respective distributor 





3. Click on Beats button, it will take you to new page where respective distributors can be  mapped to the beats 




4. Click on Create Button, it will ask you to select the distributor name and beat name, click on  Submit button to complete the mapping



Note – Beat mapping will apply only for Stockist




View Details of Existing Distributor 

1. Once you click on Company Settings – Distributor Management, it will take you to  distributor details page 

2. Use Name Search Field or ERP ID Field to find the respective distributor 




3. Click on View Details button to look at the details of the distributors 




4. Distributor information will look like this as shown below




Distributor Beat Detach 


1. Once you click on Company Settings – Distributor Management option, it will take you to  distributor page 

2. Use Name Search Field or ERP ID Field to find the respective distributor 




3. Click on Beats button, it will take you to new page where respective distributors can be  detached from the beats




4. Click on Detach Button to complete the detaching process





Reactivate Inactive Distributors 


1. Once you click on Company Settings – Distributor Management option, it will take you to  distributor page 

2. Click on Show Inactive field on top 




3. You will get the deactivated distributors along with active ones in the system 




4. Click on Activate button to reactivate the respective distributor

 

5. Now the distributor will be activated in the Field Assist Web Portal



FAQ’S 


1. How to create a new distributor in Field Assist Web Portal? 

Answer - Click on Company Settings – Distributor Management option, it will take you to  distributor creation page. Click on +Create button to create a new distributor by filing the basic  details. 


2. How do I edit the existing information of a distributor in Field Assist Web Portal? 

Answer - Click on Company Settings – Distributor Management option, it will take you to  distributor creation page. Click on Edit button beside to respective existing distributor and make  the necessary changes, click on Submit button to save. 

3. How do I attach a new distributor to a beat? 

Answer - Click on Company Settings – Distributor Management option, it will take you to  distributor page. Click on Beats button, it will take you to new page where respective  distributors can be attached to the beats. Then click Create Button, it will ask you to select the  distributor name and beat name, click on Submit button to complete the mapping.
